Kick off the new year by building better hydration habits with the #WetJanuaryChallenge! Hydration is the foundation of better health, and by committing to daily hydration, you’re starting the year strong!

Why Hydration?

Hydration is key to improving your overall health and wellness. Studies show it takes about 30 days to build a new habit, so why not start with hydration? With the LARQ app and Bottle PureVis™ 2, you’ll have the perfect tools to stay on track and see real results.

About LARQ Bottle PureVis™ 2

LARQ Bottle PureVis™ 2 can not only automatically sync your hydration levels with the LARQ app, but it also has Nano Zero filtration, removing chlorine and PFOA/PFOS from water to improve the taste and quality of your tap water and making it easier to hydrate more wherever you are. But that’s not all—PureVis™ 2 also has PureVis™ UV-C LED technology, a non-toxic UV light that eradicates up to 99.9999% of bio-contaminants like E.coli and Salmonella from your water. PureVis™ even activates every 2 hours to keep your water and inner parts of your bottle germ-free, so you can drink more, and worry about washing less. Believe us when we say it’s the ultimate everyday carry water bottle.

Best practices for accurate hydration tracking

Tip #1: Track after refilling

Right after you fill your bottle, make sure it’s ready to track. Place it on a flat surface, then just pop the spout open and close it again. Give it a few seconds to do its thing. If it’s not during quiet hours (set through the app), you’ll see a quick white pulse on the LED ring, letting you know it’s got the measurement.

Tip #2: Take noticeable sips

Tiny sips might not show up right away, and that’s okay! The app waits until there’s a noticeable change in the water level before adding it to your hydration total. If a small sip doesn’t show up, don’t sweat it—it’ll catch up on your next bigger drink once it hits the threshold.

Tip #3: Keep cap clear + clean

After refilling or cleaning, check the quartz window under the cap for any particles or debris that could mess with the reading. While using it, flipping the bottle upside down for a sec with the spout closed can help clear any particles or droplets, making sure your measurements stay accurate.

Tip #4: Refill in larger volumes

For the most accurate tracking, try to take a measurement when your bottle’s empty or less than half full before you refill. Small refills might not get picked up, so it’s best to do it when the bottle’s low. And again, for the best results, place the bottle on a flat surface, open and close the spout cover, and you’re good to go.
