WARNING: Do not try to charge your PureVis Cap while wet. The USB-C port of the cap is waterproof IPX7-rated, but charging it while wet will cause issues. Always charge your device first before washing it to ensure it has time to dry out completely before the next charge is needed.

Q3: Can I use the LARQ Bottle PureVis™ 2 with hot beverages or liquids other than water?
The LARQ Bottle PureVis™ 2 is designed for use with cold or room-temperature water. We do not recommend using it with hot beverages (above 122°F / 50°C) as this can be harmful or burn users while drinking from the straw due to the robust insulation. While the bottle is made of food-grade stainless steel, using liquids other than water (like coffee, tea, or sugary drinks) is not recommended as they can leave residue that might hinder the UV-C light’s effectiveness over time and may require more frequent manual cleaning. If you do, ensure you hand wash the bottle thoroughly with warm, soapy bottle brush immediately after use.
